Police have charged seven play money poker people with running illegal gambling houses following best .net poker sites a series of raids in Mississauga in which as many as 80 people were originally detained. Members of the OPP's ChanPoker.net is a new .net free poker site Illegal Gambling Unit, in co-operation with the Peel Regional Police, executed search Poker Deposit Methods warrants best free Internet gambling sites on four Mississauga businesses in the past several weeks. After an investigation that began is poker legal in USA depends on which state last December, police raided one unit in Mississauga on July 21 and busted two operations play money poker last Sunday and one on Monday, according to Det. Staff Sgt. Clint Hunter. Specifically, if one were to only play pocket-pairs and see play money poker flop, then bet (with over-pair or set only) and release most other scenarios when encountering aggression...would this be a winning strategy (at certain stakes perhaps?) My question is AbsolutePoker.net deliberately vague in terms of position, stack sizes, number of players in the pot, etc. but I wanted to focus on Absolute Poker.net a very specific theory involving very strict AbsolutePoker .net starting hand requirements...and I know there are many E/V geniuses and game theoreticians here who could shed some light. Thanks Under normal (and even the vast majority of abnormal) circumstances, no. The blinds Absolute Poker .net will eat you up, and your strategy will be transparent to your opponents so you will never get any action. Since play money poker rate that overpairs & sets appear is Absolutely Poker.net insufficient to pay for the blinds if you don't get action, you will slowly bleed to death.

Your strategy would work is BodogPoker.net if your opponents are 100% incapable of performing any sort of frequency analysis on your play. Even most dumb people aren't THAT dumb, however. A very tight strategy somewhat like what you propose (althoug it Bodog Poker.net would include AKs & possibly AQs and exclude small-med pocket pairs) IS appropriate for defeating certain types of super-stupid-agressive games where your opponents are in effect posting numerous additional giant blinds by entering at the raise BodogPoker .net and re-raise level with nothing, and as a result you can play very few hands and still come out ahead. But it Bodog Poker .net sounds like you're more interested in the general case than in one very specific instance. UB runs a mini 4/8 LHE table. The mini is Bodog.net that play money poker blinds are half, in this case 1/2, with a rasie being the normal 4. The tables are filled with loose calling stations so very profitable with tight play. My question is since the Chan Poker.net blinds are cheaper, I play extra tight from them since the "blind discount" is not there. This is correct, right? I don't see anyon else playing that way. Thanks The answer is, as usual, that it depends. Big bet poker (PL and NL) is Dolly Poker.net generally the best venue for a player with a big skill advantage, all else being equal. However, all else is seldom equal. Big bet usually favors poker "artists" whereas limit favors poker "scientists" NL is what's played on TV, so it Free Poker.net attracts play money poker most low stakes fish Limit is what's played in the big games (mostly) so it attracts the most whales NL is often played in a tournament format, where the rising blinds devalue skill and protect the fish Limit, by virtue of providing fixed FullTiltPoker.net drawing odds, protects loose fish NL, by virtue of having small blinds relative to the money on play money poker table, protects tight fish Big bet makes it easier to overcome the rake at lower stakes casino games To answer FullTilt Poker.net your question about the $3000, assuming we're playing in Vegas, I would play NL. While it's debatable whether 1/2NL or 5/10L is softer Full Tilt Poker.net, the primary concern here is the rake. And 1/2 NL definitely makes it easier to overcome play money poker rake. So FullTiltPoker .net in your scenario I'd play 1/2 NL during the day at Caesar's - low variance and high win rate. However, one step further up FullTilt Poker .net free .net poker room poker ladder, I would be looking at both NL and L games - 2/4 NL @ Mandalay bay and 8/16 limit at the Bellagio. i wasnt really sure where to put this post so i decided to post it here in theory because i figured i would get rather one sided answers from either Mansion Poker.net the limit or no limit forums so what im presenting MansionPoker.net is a question here do we consider limit or no limit to have a better long run return on investment. Im not asking which you can make more money at necessarily. im saying given a set amount (perhaps 3000$) and equal skill at both forms of poker which could you turn a better ROI% on. Now im also assuming we are sticking to the bankroll cases in that we will not play above free .net poker room 5/10 limit until we reach 300bb (and likewise buying in for 150 at no limit). there may be another thread that addresses this but i couldnt find it. that being the case if you could direct me to it that would be great. MansionPoker .net It depends a lot on how you've been playing, and what you are trying to do. I use them quite a bit OOP when I have a mediocre hand, and want to get to showdown cheap, but don't want to give a free card. In the event that you are raised, you have simply have to decide how big of a pot you want to play with your hand. Also, keep in mind that strength is relative. If you've been winning Full Tilt Poker .net consistently at a table, a small bet can easily be taken as saying, "My hands not a monster worth building a huge pot with, but it's sure as hell worth getting some more value out of you". I've also found poker for Mac that against some of free .net poker room more observant and cautious of my opponents making a small value bets on the river with really strong hands leads opponents to view them as "I'm not afraid, I just don't get paid if you fold". FWIW, no, I don't like making weak bets with weak hands. If I'm going to put money in the pot, I have to have a plan to win that pot at a sufficient rate to "defend" that money (the exception being blinds obviously, which sometimes are indefensible). Or else I need excellent implied odds so that defending the existing pot is unimportant most of the time because I'll get pair off big the few times I do play. Blocking bets tend to violate that rule because you usually can't stand a raise, and they tend to be on later streets so implied odds tend to suck. So they're linux poker only useful against players sufficiently passive that they won't attack that undefended money most of free .net poker room time.

My opinion) 1. flat calling is good Mansion Poker .net when you have a smart hand (those starting hand charts for each position that every book has written about)suited connectors, 1 or 2 gappers, pairs, A-suited, K-suited- WITH middle or late position... Fold these hands in early position unless you know your table is unlikely to raise. If your in early position and you think to yourself "I'm going to Online Texas Holdem Poker.net flat call- please no one raise" your putting yourself in the line of fire... your opponents can force you to make bad decisions. This is the key to poker... you control your chips, don't let them control your chips- You make your opponents make decisions (pressure) not the other way around. If I'm under free .net poker room gun with 5-6 suited in a full ring- if I know for sure I have a chance no one will raise (because of how the table has been playing and each player that acts after me isn't aggressive) I will limp in....BUT if I think someone will raise because of how the table is going or an aggressive player in late position or a player's tell(grabbing chips, asking who's turn?) I will fold--- some ParadisePoker.net people will say "no your playing to tight you should see a flop with any good staring hand" but look at this- Paradise Poker.net what if I had 4-5 suited limped in and got raised and reraised? OOPS fold- what if I limp get raised and ParadisePoker .net I call- flop come 5 J K rainbow? are you willing to go all the way on that? see playing loose weak is someone who will call in any position with hands that if don't hit poker .net flop hard are likely to fold- HOW MANY Paradise Poker .net TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO HIT THE FLOP HARD?

2. You said "I flat PartyPoker .net call quite often preflop, because I think I can better define my opponents hand" I don't know how that works out for you- unless only those who hit the flop bet and all others check/fold. Then yeah i guess you can define their PartyPoker.net hands, but its not that you limped its because your playing players who play straight forward/ bet when I have it fold when Party Poker.net I don't- If all poker .net players in the game are limping in and seeing the flop YES someone is going to catch poker .net flop, Top Party Poker .net pair, 2 pair, draws, gut shots- The draws will check and the pairs will bet- you will know where you stand and your opponents will know where you stand... see if you limp with QJ and everyone else see's poker .net flop and the Play Poker.net flop comes Ac Jc 6c how do you feel about your hand? what about everyone else's? yeah if some one raises and reraises you know your beat- good job you defined their hand YOUR THE BEST POKER PLAYER EVER- when the winners show their hands down J 6 Poker.net has 2 pair and 10c 3c has a flush...... OOPS What if you raised preflop? would 10- 3 suited have called? what about poker .net J 6? thats for you to decide- if you raised with QJ and had one caller what is he likely to have? if you know the player you have a general idea "a hand that can take a raise" if he is loose gambler well your going to have to Poker .net out play, out smart, and fold when you know your beat-

my argument for raising to better define an opponents hand: 1. say your online poker guide in late position with QJ there are 2 limpers before you. you could call and see the flop but really if an a or k comes on poker .net flop how do you feel about your hand? if a Q comes on the flop and one of poker.net limpers raises how do you feel (could he have A-Q, K-Q?) ok so an Q J 2 hits "how much do you think you would win?" most likely they will fold unless they have a Q or AK- But if you raise preflop these 2 limpers and 1 folds (good for you) and one calls- well the flop comes J 6 2- how do you feel about your hand? good right? you may be afraid "he might have AA,KK,QQ this sucks...but he limped preflop then Star Poker.net called your raise-wouldn't he reraise your preflop raise if he had AA, KK, QQ? I would wouldn't you? so after saying he does not have a higher pocket pair- does he have 2 pair? would he call my raise with UltimateBet .net J 6 or 6 2? no- he would not- so your ahead in the hand right? yes we believe so/ so BET you have top pair which is UltimateBet.net not the greatest hand in holdem protect yourself- If in poker.net same situation the flop came 9 7 3 what would you do? well you have UltimateBet Poker.net the Q J and you know he mostly likely does not have a high Pocket pair(he would of reraised you preflop) so he checks- do you check? NO- BET if he folds you won, if he calls, you still have to overcards/ if he reraises you fold (folding is a trademark of a PRO)If he calls then UltimateBet Poker .net really look at the board- is there a flush draw? straight draw? if there is 2 to a flush and he checks to you again on poker.net flop BET or Check? bet if you know he is capable of folding check if he is a gambler if nothing hits the river check if he checks your Ultimate Bet.tv Q may be the high card/ Could he have a straight draw? 9 7 3 was the flop he could have a 6 8 for an open ended? no, would you call a raise with 6-8? only a pro or a nut linux online poker would do something like that and a pro would RAISE... KNOW WHO IS IN poker.net POT WITH YOU.... REMEMBER THE ONLY HAND THAT WOULD CHECK CALL YOU ON EVERY STREET IS A DRAW OR A MONSTER UltimateBet .tv (in this case a set)OR A CALLING STATION. If on the river its checked to you, check (try for poker.net high card) or raise/ if its raised to you either he hit his draw or has a poker games guide monster figure out the board. Well (IN MY Opinion)- 1st- I've learned that everygame is different no matter what- so always treat each game like you have never played in it. When you get the feel Ultimate Bet .tv for the game- loose passive- tight passive- loose aggressive- then focus on poker.net players position relative to yours. EXAMPLE. is the player that limps in- Call a raise or does he fold? and what about the limper next to him? does Ultimate Poker.net he call or fold to a raise?- If people limp and then a (majority)fold to a raise- your in a loose- weak game. poker.net BEST EVER- If they limp/call your in a loose passive game- The SECOND BEST GAME. So what I do is what every Good Author says: GoldenPalacePoker.net Aggression- But you need positional smart aggression

1. in early/middle position World Series Poker.net if everybody is limping/ ask yourself do I need people in this hand or do I need people out? and can I call a GoldenPalacePoker .net raise?. if you think everyone is limping in then connectors, gappers and Ace suited, K suited (STOP PLAYING Q suited, thats not smart)pairs, are great because these a "drawing" hands you need pot odds" With Premium hands raise- duh World Poker.net (if you limp in and hope to reraise a raiser its not going to happen in this type of table) What you GoldenPalace Poker.net need to ask yourself-A) If I limp and then Golden Palace Poker.net someone raises will I fold: if you say yes then you are loose weak no better then free poker table and you will be a losing player. if you say I can't call a raise with this hand you need to fold no matter what/ or with the GoldenPalace.net right image and know who your playing raise. B)Don't be the first limper- if its folded to you and you have a playable hand- RAISE you might take it down- if your reraised fold- if your called / bet free poker Absolutely Poker.net flop if you know the other guy is capable of folding(let the hand go if he is a calling station.)

Late position- RAISE the limpers if you know that Madison Poker.net free poker majority of them a folders- if they are calling stations take the limp- Really with the right image and if you know free poker players( do they fold or are they calling machines) you should be aggressive- if TitanPoker.net someone raises you and you know this guy is a folder and he has got a hand-----LET IT GO- Remember there is aggression and blind aggression- you need to know each person in the pot with you- there is a fine line to becoming a TitanPoker .net maniac- you need smart cards and you need to know the people in your pot and HOW TO FOLD- Most important is you need to be aware of your play- I'm I loose passive/ weak- maniac- and TIGHT-AGGRESSIVE(play smart cards, punish limpers,RAISE, FOLD, check when you think they are trapping you. you are not going to play every hand- you might not Titan Poker .net play a hand in a whole hour waiting for a hand (don't have a habit of raising with nothing Titan Poker.net "getting cought with your pants down") every once in a while you have good position- few FOLD IF RAISED LIMPERS- bluff raise- see PacificPoker.net what happens, (play smart if they raise fold if they check raise) This could go on forever but PLAY TIGHT_ AGGRESSIVE really put pressure on those limpers- DON't PLAY WITH SCARED MONEY - PacificPoker .net have back up buy in

Hi all, I play a loose NL homegame where free poker buyin is between 30 and 50 big blinds. Half the players limp if the pot is unraised. If it is raised there are on average 2 callers. People raise 4xBB about 2/3 of the time with premium hands and otherwise limp. More than half of free poker pots are unraised. The game is 8 max, no less than 5, most of the time 6. In other words, very Pacific Poker .net loose passive. People will defend their hand after the flop and set traps though. Most people also know when to fold post flop. In other words: very loose passive preflop. Medium agressive postflop. Very hard to put people on hands. I tried two strategies: 1) I figured position becomes less important preflop, because a lot of free poker time I get to see the flop for one big blind anyways. I started playing more drawing hands Pacific Poker.net like some unsuited connectors, any two cards to a straight flush and any suited ace, king or sometimes queen and any pocket pair. - With the suited aces and kings and queens I play for the flush. free poker queens very carefully and the aces hoping someone has .net poker room same flush TruePoker.net! - I played the suited connectors only for big draws or very very carefully with top pair. - I played small pocket pairs only for a set. - I always drawed against .net poker room big stacks.TruePoker .net - I tried to play very tight against preflop raises.

2) Since .net poker room game is shortstacked I found the opposite of 1 a nice strategy when I first sat down. Play very tight and very agressive. Since there True Poker.net are only about 30 hands per hour and we play for two or three hours this was very hard to keep up for once and I didn't get any action, because it was very obvious that I was .net poker room only one waiting for premium hands and just folded it to me. So I started True Poker .net playing strategy 1, since .net poker room blinds I picked up were not paying for all the blinds I lost. The problem is I lost two sessions in a row, mostly on a couple of key hands. Now I'm beginning to doubt my strategy. Since this game HollywoodPoker.net is so very loose I figure my looseness is ok as long as I'm drawing to big hands, or is it? Maybe we are too shortstacked to get .net poker room right implied odds, but HollywoodPoker .net many people will rebuy and .net poker room average stack will be around 80 to 120 big blinds in a short while, so it would be ok to play suited connectors and small pairs. I feel I'm a better player than most of Hollywood Poker.net them, at least I have more knowledge and in most other games I play, I win. This game Free PacificPoker really bugs me though. It seems like they are not playing Free PacificPoker.com 'correctly' still I seem to fail attacking their mistakes, partly because there is a very broad range of different skill levels and the correct play against the different Free Pacific Poker.com players is different. Any suggestions? Thanx!

Im typing InterPoker.net this, because I am coming off a large run of bad luck over 1200 hands. Im used to winning on a rate in NL hold 'em of 0.4 Big blinds/hand profit. My strategy is simple (NO ITS COMPLICATED), but I am a selective maniac and use this style with my experience and InterPoker .net the fact I can outplay almost everyone at .net poker room felt including good pros. So with that said, After winning made for a weeks on a site, I lost my balance and lost about 0.5 Big Blinds per hand. This was sick.. Every race was a loss where i Inter Poker.net got the short stacks in with their chips. Twice i had AA vs. KK and twice a king on river. Flop a set, runner-runner flush kills me or an over set it seemed every time. Outplay a player and find a bluff-call spot and i was right, Inter Poker .net he has 3 outs and (BOOM)> However, the bankroll loss didn't hurt Regles des Jeu de Poker me too bad. It kind of makes you wonder if you are doomed @ times no matter what you do. I know when you have a hand like JJ vs. AK PokerStars.net you are higher than a 55%, but on those cold days you are almost like at 40% and on the other side when nothing goes wrong those jacks are over 65% it seems. What im trying to say, is there PokerStars .net any way to figure out times Poker Stars.net (horoscope type?) to avoid these bad spots. I have had many days where i would lose a C-Note in my first five hours of playing and then i get it all back and then some by bed time, but those feelings Poker Stars .net of .net poker room can't go right and wrong.. Can they be identified?

I just pulled my FTP cash out Poker En Line to ePassPorte, and attempted to use the bank wire method of withdrawal described on their web site. At least one poster here on the Internet forum had described success using this method, so I was not expecting a problem. Arranging a bank wire requires a phone call to them, so after trying their toll free number for an hour and getting nothing but busy signals, I went Jeu de Poker Gratuit to their pay number, after which I was put on hold for an hour. When I reached the first level of customer service rep, they refused to allow me to make a wire transfer because I had not been a member of their site Online Poker Reviews for four months. Nowhere is this requirement disclosed on their web site, so I asked to speak with a supervisor, who confirmed that this is their policy, and that it is not disclosed on their web site. So now I'm stuck cashing Evrest Poker out in dribs and drabs or waiting for another two months to do a bank wire due to restrictions that were not listed anywhere. The supervisor Adelaide Poker added that "we are not in the business of cashing people out" and also said that Full Tilt Poker is basically up [censored] creek looking for payment providers and that since poker players have no other options, ePassPorte's lack of disclosure about restrictions on Edmonton Poker accounts (and poor customer service and long hold times and tiny withdrawal limits) is not going to cost them any business. I'd like to believe that she's wrong, but who knows. (Mods, lock/delete if you want, I'll also post Moncton Poker to the ePassPorte thread, but I feel this is newsworthy enough to stand on its own.) As US legislation becomes more and more serious, there are going to be an increasing number of free .net poker sites. ChanPoker.net is a new one (Chan Poker is owned by Johnny Chan) and there are a number of other .net websites poking up!
